Dirt Killer Nozzle Maintenance: Sand, grit or rust particles in water further reduce the life expectancy of a Dirt Killer Nozzle. Follow these steps to ensure an extended life for your Dirt Killer Nozzle.

    1. If the nozzle slows, emits a bad pattern or stops, cease using the nozzle immediately. Failure to do so may cause turbine damage. Disassemble the nozzle and clean nozzle and nozzle shaft.
    2. Filter inlet water before the pump and use a high pressure filter.
    3. When starting, point nozzle down to prevent ceramic tip damage.
    4. Keep water temperatures below 180° F
    5. Do not trigger on and off. This causes excessive wear.

      Dirt Killer Nozzle Rebuilding Instructions:

        1. Remove cover and unscrew inlet adapter.
        2. Remove turbine nozzle and check for clogs.
        3. If clogged, clear turbine nozzle and reassemble.
        4. To rebuild entire nozzle, remove all contents. Place small O-ring on tip of seat and smear with 272 Loctite and press set into tip of nozzle.
        5. Change large O-ring on inlet adapter.
        6. Drop turbine nozzle into nozzle body and screw inlet adapter on. Back on nozzle turbine should not be centered.
        7. Replace cover.
